Kinderhilfswerk Foundation Global-Care – Christian Love in Action

Mission:

On the basis of the Christian principle of loving one’s neighbour, Global-Care serves needy people of all ages. Global-Care’s goal is that all children in poverty and their families – re-gardless of gender, skin colour, religion, or group affiliations – could live a life marked by integrity, health, and dignity, exploiting their full potential.

Through the donations of its supporters, Global-Care is able to render sustainable emergency aid to children in need as well as to their families, and also provide long-term help through sponsorships. Further, Global-Care initiates and fosters self-help projects that lead to distinct and ongoing improvement of the needy children’s situation and their families’ wellbeing.

Global-Care strives for the best possible results, as they primarily assess their short- and long-term needs of the children they serve.

Careful use of Resources
Global-Care handles all entrusted resources with greatest care and expects from every em-ployee and partner professional competence, high quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Honest and Trustful Relationship to its Donors
Global-Care values regular, open and trusting dialogue to all donors, sponsors, and to those wanting to understand their work. All information that Global-Care passes on concerning  people and/or projects is in all cases true, as recent as possible, and authentic. Global-Care advocates contextual as well as emotional closeness between its sponsors and the persons in need, aiming at the best possible outcome for those in need.

Motivated Employees
Global-Care expects its employees to be competent and motivated, striving for open, trusting, and constructive work as a team. The basis for this high work ethic implies consistant per-sonal growth and regular professional training.

Global-Care cooperates locally on a partnership basis with churches, entrepreneurships, and organisations.
